Easy Korean Recipes at Home — Buldak, Ramen & Garlic Bread
Korean food is the fastest-spreading cuisine online: spicy, sweet, crispy and full of molten cheese. The good news is its most famous dishes need nothing rare — mostly chicken, noodles, bread and gochujang, which most supermarkets now stock.
The heat in Korean recipes comes from gochujang and gochugaru flakes. Start with half, balance it with honey or sugar, and remember cheese tames it a lot.
Buldak means "fire chicken" in Korean: chicken in a sweet, fiery sauce, often served under melted cheese.
A mix of chilli paste or sriracha with a little soy sauce and honey gets close.
